Our Team

Director Brent Stevenson is well-known and respected within the industry and he is currently both honorary treasurer and a member of the management of the National Association of Memorial Masons (NAMM). He was actively involved in the preparation of the NAMM Code of Working Practice and previously served on the NAMM technical committee. He is also a member of the Memorial Awareness Board (MAB), which works to raise the public profile of the memorial industry. Co-directors of the business are Brent’s wife Louise and son James.

Both Brent and James are qualified Memorial Safety Inspectors and offer free safety assessments for any Lancashire churchyards who wish to assess the safety of their memorials.

James Stevenson joined the business in 1999 and today heads up the management of the works team alongside skilled sandblaster Peter Willetts, who has over 25 years’ experience in the industry.

With more than 40 years’ expertise, Steve Holden is a leading exponent of the art of hand lettercutting, while Dave Chadwick and Shaun Holt are responsible for fixing the memorials in cemeteries and churchyards.

All our craftsmen are City and Guilds qualified as Memorial Fixers and registered on the NAMM Register of Qualified Memorial Fixers - RQMF.

Providing support on the administration and customer sides of the business in Blackburn are Jackie Ben-Accom, who has been with the team for over 25 years, Teresa Taylor, who is responsible for the business accounts, Sue Walker, our newest member of staff and Margaret Swift who manages our Blackpool office.

The final member of our team is graphic designer Greg Wharf, who is responsible for the business’s new website and introducing new technology to enhance the customer experience. Greg is also Brent's godson - keeping it all in the family.
